Lunmar boat lift slings are made of the highest grade of nylon available and have galvanized rings sewn into each end. We strongly recommend upgrading to the slings that have the weights and keel pads. The weights consist of lead plate which weighs approximately 3 pounds and is sewn between the ply of the slings. This weight is enough to force the sling to sink, additional cable weights are recommended if you are needing more weight to hold tension on your cables. The keel pad is a doubled up piece of sling located where the keel would rest in the sling to prevent premature wear on the sling.
